Cal and Lulu are very observant, realizing that the man walking in front of them is walking and invisible dog. Perhaps the dog is imaginary, a figment of the dogless walker’s imagination. Lulu who is the more pragmatic of this pair, opines that perhaps, she and Cal are imaginary as well. No, that can’t be!
