CHIHUAHUA POWER!

“Blue Dawg” and “Chalupa” met in Dogicity and were attracted to one another like “oil and water. Blue Dawg could be mistaken for a “red neck,” except that he is literally blue in color and nature. His lack of self-esteem manifests itself in this cartoon when he challenges Chalupa, a seemingly insecure, Mexicana. His not so subtle, implication that he would rather be blue than an ingredient in a taco is rather unsettling to Chalupa and rightly so. Chalupa doesn’t take his comments lying down, and counteracts his allegations with action. Chalupa is well read as manifest by the books she reads.   “At the end of the day” the conflict between the two will go unresolved: Blue Dawg will remain as blue as ever, and Chalupa will probably live with a lingering fear that, in fact, she might end up in someone’s taco one day.
